Hanna Yusuf Ubaid, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Lakewood, Ohio, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the beautiful town of Birzeit, Palestine, on February 3, 1946, Hanna studied as a carpenter in Denmark before making a home in the United States.

Hanna was the beloved husband of Hilda (nee Sayej) for 48 years. He was the loving father of Sara Obaida Kassis (Nizar), Joey Ubaid (Sherine), Maryland Ubaid, and Nezar Ubaid (Elizabeth). His greatest joy was being the dearest Sedo to his seven grandchildren: Antonio, Simon, Lucas, Adalena, Eleanor, Johnathan, and Elias.

Hanna was the dear son of the late Yusuf and Sara Ubaid. He is survived by his siblings Yasmine Naser, Iskandar Abeid, and Katerina Araman, and joins his late siblings Mary Halassah, Ibrahim Abeid, and Jiries Obeid in eternal rest. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Ripepi Funeral Home (5762 Pearl Rd. at Snow Rd.), with Ginnaz Prayers at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Maron Church (1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland) on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Hanna will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
