HILDEGARDE SCHMIDT (nee Kastl), age 90, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2020. Loving wife of Hans Schmidt. Cherished mother of Inge Schmidt (Ajit), Eveline Blum (Harald) and Monika Strah (Steven). Beloved grandmother of Megan Schmidt-Sane (Luke), Peter Schmidt-Sane (Chelsea) and Hunter Strah. Steadfast sister of Karl Kastl. Dear aunt and friend of many in Austria and the US. Hilde was an elegant, energetic and loving soul whose greatest joy was her family. She will long be remembered and greatly missed. Private service and internment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
