INGRID M. LOBE, age 63, of Middleburg Heights, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, with her loving daughters at her side.
Ingrid was born March 25, 1962, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Alois and Hedy Lobe. She devoted many years of her life to caring for others through her work at Pleasant Lake Villa, where her compassion, steadiness, and dedication touched residents, families, and coworkers alike. Known for her warmth and quiet strength, Ingrid made every person she encountered feel seen and cared for.
A devoted mother and animal lover, Ingrid adored her family and her seven cats, each of whom brought her comfort, companionship, and joy. Those who knew her remember her deep commitment to giving every animal in her care a safe and loving home and the kindness she extended to all living things.
Ingrid’s gentle spirit and generous heart will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
She was the beloved mother of Arianna Romantic and Ingrid Romantic and the loving cousin of Melissa Lewellen and Richard Fuhrmann wed of AnnMarie. She is also survived by her many cats past and present, whom she showed eternal love for.
Ingrid’s family and friends will forever carry her memory in their hearts. May her memory be a blessing to everyone she knew and loved.
Her family will hold a private ceremony honoring her at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, where she will be reunited with her parents.
