BLACKWELL, JR., age 50; loving husband of Sonja (nee Slygh) for 14 years; beloved father of Alyvia and Aydin Blackwell; son of the late James and Cora Blackwell; brother of Teresa Rodgers, Sharon Mines (Eric), Joyce Miller (Yves), Sandra Peterson, Linda Christian, Shawn Blackwell and Sonya Burton; loving uncle and dear friend of many. James was a proud decorated U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, who served in the Gulf War and Dessert Storm.
