COMODECA, age 81; beloved husband of the late Charlotte “Sheri” (nee Hancock); loving father of Theresa Schmalz (deceased) (Paul), James A., Christopher M. and Lisa Baumgartner (Mark); devoted grandfather of Jennifer, Andrew, Julia, Jimmy, Ashley, Brent, Kyler, Garrett and Kiersten; brother of the late Frank. James was a retired manager at the Midpark branch U.S. Post Office, member of the National Association of Postal Supervisors, the West side representative National Association of Postal Supervisors, past President Postal Employees, member of the Holy Name Society, Normandy High School Boosters Club, the chairman of Normandy Invaderama Drive, former awards chairman of Cub Scout Pack 320, Brooklyn, OH, Scoutmaster of Troop 657 Parma, OH and member of Order of the Arrow; U.S. Army Veteran. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6750 State Rd., Parma, Thursday, June 11, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
