James M. Hendershot

JAMES M. HENDERSHOT passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at the age of 74 in Parma, Ohio. Born on March 7, 1950, James dedicated 40 years of his life to Ford Motor Company in Brook Park, Ohio, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to his work. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard, where his dedication to service was equally evident.

James was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Spending time with his family brought him great joy and many cherished memories. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Jackie) and James Jr.; granddaughters, Brittney, Alyssa, and Ashley (Steve); great-grandchildren, Dominick, Carl, Anthony, Aniyah, Ciara, Preston, and Noah; sisters Peggy, Suzanne, Bobbi and brother David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Minni Hendershot, his brother Denny and sister Tiny.

Viewing and visitation is scheduled from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Ripepi Funeral Home, 5762 Pearl Road (at Snow Road) in Parma, Ohio. Following visitation, a prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or a charity of choice in memory of Jim.
