James "Jj" Cottrell

JAMES “JJ” COTTRELL, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday February 8, 2020. Beloved husband of Paula (nee Larned); loving father of Neil Rickard (Pam), James Cottrell, Jr. and Melissa Regallis (Joe); grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of two; dear son of the late James and Elaine Cottrell (nee Villwock); dear brother of Harry Dewick, Gae Ballou, Michael Cottrell (Sue), Parker Cottrell (deceased), Pixie Luce (Fred) and Gina Cottrell (Connie); beloved uncle and dear friend of many. JJ enjoyed spending time at the Last Straw Farm, was a car collector, avid hunter and a craftsman. He will be greatly missed. Services at the Funeral Home Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow at Yorktown lanes. The family will receive friends, to pay tribute and celebrate the life of JJ, at the RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY 3 – 7 P.M. AND SUNDAY 10 – 11 A.M.
