James G. Menszyk, age 76, of Parma Heights, passed away on April 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, service, and love.
James was a proud United States Navy veteran who carried his sense of duty and dedication throughout his life. Known for his outgoing personality, he never met a stranger—only friends he hadn’t made yet. He had a natural way of bringing people together and was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He was a devoted father to his two children, Brett Menszyk and Jen Menszyk (Jack) and a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren, Chase, Mikaela and Mia, who brought him endless joy. James is also survived by his brother Gary Menszyk (Sonja), along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
Those who knew James will remember his generosity, his warmth, and the way he showed up for others without hesitation. Whether it was offering support, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, he made a lasting impact on everyone around him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at THE RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), from 1-3 p.m. with Military Honors at 2:45 p.m. Please dress casually.
James’s memory will live on through the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
