James Edward Shultz

JAMES EDWARD SHULTZ, age 85, born October 2, 1931 in Loretto, PA to Mary and Carl Shultz (both deceased), passed away January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Anna M. “Ann” Shultz (nee Baker) for 60 years; loving father of Denise Christescu and Mary Danita Shultz (Richard Blitt); devoted grandfather of Michael (Lara Mielcarek), James, Emily (Joshua Ingraham) and Sarah Christescu; great-grandfather of Gabriel Corbo and Ruby Holiday Ingraham; dear brother of Sally Durbin; brother-in-law of Betty Shultz. Preceeded in death by siblings Thomas, Joseph, Robert, Frederick and Jean Shultz and Ruth Patterson. Favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Retired from River Terminal Railway after 39 years of service. Service at the Funeral Home, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodvale Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.
