JAMES P. THOMAS, Age 74; husband of Nora (nee McKenna); father of James (Erika), Kimberly Imbrigiotta (James), Timothy (Tina Wirth, fiancé), and Karen Meketa; step-father of Brianne Nisius (Greg) and Megan Lance; Grandfather of Julia Imbrigiotta, Alyssa and Joshua Thomas, John Thomas, Dustin, Riley, and Keegan Nisius; former husband of the late Nancy Thomas (nee Gordon); son of the late John and Helen Thomas, step son of Lucy Thomas; brother of Anthony DiCello (Noreen), Shannon Maiorana (Salvatore), Bonita Willard (Roger), and the following deceased: Gerald Thomas, John Thomas, Gloria Gruppo, and Robert Armillie. James was a fireman with the Cleveland Fire Dept. for 33 years, and retired as Captain of Engine 23, a US Army Veteran, an active member of Parma VFW Post 1974, American Legion Post 703, and a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 33. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church, 2486 W. 14 St., Cleveland, Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 10 A.M. Graveside service with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday July 12 at 1:30 P.M. (Please Meet at the Main Entrance).
