James "Buzz" Young

JAMES “BUZZ” YOUNG, age 75; Devoted and loving Husband of Jean Young (nee Palazzo), passed away December 14, 2023. Born in Cleveland and raised in Sandusky to loving parents Judge James and Evangeline Young (both deceased). Buzz was a hands-on and extremely devoted Father to Jake Young (Carmen). Loving brother to Mary Lee Bradley (John) and brother-in-law to John Palazzo (Lisa). Devoted uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Buzz was both kind and generous to all of his family and friends. He was a retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class with over 20 years of Active Duty and Reserve Service and was very active with his local American Legion Post. Buzz raised his son to also serve his country with respect and honor. After retiring from juvenile court, Buzz continued working as an usher for The Cleveland Indians and was always an avid fan of Cleveland sports. Buzz always enjoyed giving the game balls he caught to fans in the stadium. He will be dearly missed. In memory of Buzz, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Colman Church, 2027 W. 65th St., Cleveland, OH, 44102. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Colman Church, 2027 W. 65th St., Cleveland, OH, 44102 on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
