JANET R. PATENA (nee Kaderbek) age 81, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020.
Beloved wife of Gene; loving Mother of Todd and Shelley; dearest Omi of Heather Land (Chad), Russell May (Megan Rindfleisch) and Margaux May;  great-grandmother of Elowen May; dearest friend of Nick America; daughter of the late Charles Kaderbek and Helen (nee Modroch); sister of Dorothy Zunt (Don deceased), Florence and Joe Girardi (both deceased), Charlotte Komat (Edward, deceased) and Charles Kaderbek and Vicky Morris (both deceased); loving Aunt and dear friend of many.  Janie filled a life of many rolls.  She was Secretary to the Command Staff at McChord Air Force Base, WA.  Being a natural beauty she enjoyed a long and extensive career in modeling.  Jan was Hostess at the Cleveland Athletic Club and met many prestigious figures.  She also worked in Hospitality at both Marriot and Hilton hotels.  Following her passion in writing she joined the public relations firm of J. V. Madigan & Associates. Later in life she accepted a position with the Cleveland Convention Bureau sharing her passion and knowledge for the City of Cleveland.  She was devoted to her spiritual faith and her adoring family. The love instilled in her family will live on forever. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Cancer Society in her name, www.cancer.org . Private Memorial Service to be held on Sweetest Day, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at St Bridget of Kildare Church, 5620 Hauserman Road, Parma, OH.
