JEFFREY C. HOVAN

JEFFREY C. HOVAN, Age 75, of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 1, 2026. Father of Lisa Booher (Tom); grandfather of three; great grandfather of three; beloved son of Michael and Mildred (nee Aniuk) (both deceased); loving brother of Michael Jr. (Dee) (both deceased), Ronald (deceased)(Margaret) and Patricia Deamon (Paul); dearest uncle and godfather of Holly Marie (Joe Vargo) and many other nieces and nephews. Jeff was a lifelong member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association and retired from Ohio Bell. Outside of the woods, Jeff enjoyed a glass of Cleveland Whiskey, relaxing with a cold bud light and spending time with those who meant the most to him. He especially enjoyed visits from his niece’s beloved dog, Pierogi, who always managed to brighten his day. Though he will be deeply missed, we find comfort knowing he has been reunited in heaven with those who went before him. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church, 3602 Bridge Ave., Wednesday August 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. (Please meet at Church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
