Jennifer M. "Jen" Homza

JENNIFER M. "JEN" HOMZA (nee Salster), age 46, of Parma, passed suddenly from this life Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Gary for 19 years; loving mother of Cyndy and Karen; daughter of Mary, of Germany and the late Michael of Amelia, Va.; granddaughter of L. Zeither of Germany and the late Raymond and Peggy Salster of Columbus; niece of Gabriele of Germany and Joyce Scott of Columbus; cousin of Veraina, Dawn, Misty, Steve and numerous others; daughter-in-law of Joe and the late Lydia Homza of Parma and sister-in-law of Joe Homza, Jr.; step-daughter of the late Ann B. Salster and step-sister of Bekki Morris (Jake Hammock) of Amelia, the late Beth Bupp of Pennsylvania and Sam T. Morris (Barbara) of Texas, and their families, and many, many other relatives and friends from all over the world. Jen was a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist for over 15 years, with 7 years teaching at Cleveland Job Corps were she touched many peoples' lives. Even after leaving the job corps, she kept in touch with many of her students and continued to mentor them. She was full of life, outspoken and opinionated, yet giving and had the gift to inspire those around her. She also had a great sense of humor and the knack to make everyone laugh.  She will be greatly missed.  Service at the funeral home, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 4 p.m.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY 1-4 P.M.
