JOAN R. TUMA (nee Kelly), age 87; passed away peacefully at home Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Robert L. Tiger Tuma for 65 years; loving mother of Robert (Liz), Gregory (Gina), Jeffrey (deceased) (Nancy), Brian (Beth), Scott (Joann), Christopher (Christina) and Douglas (Kimm); dearest grandmother of Rachel (Marko), Vinnie, Marissa (Sean), Theresa, Jessica, Allie, Taylor, Trent, Julia, Johnny, Peter, Jonas and Audrey (deceased); great-grandmother of Olivia; daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kelly; sister of Fran Kelly, Fr. Bob Kelly and the late Christine Kelly; sister-in-law of Jean Fleischhacker (Bob) and the late Judy Tuma and Gus Tuma; beloved aunt, great aunt and dear friend of many. Joan loved her husband, kids and grandkids more than anything in the world, and that feeling is mutual. She was kind, empathetic, caring and loved to tell and share stories about her past, our family heritage, sports, religion, and current events. She had a strong faith in God and lived a beautiful, happy and long life. She always took care of others and made each of her kids, grandkids and daughters-in-law feel special. She loved to cook and celebrate birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and other important events with her family. She inspired so many people, was loved by all and will continue to live on in each of us and will always be in our hearts and on our minds. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, Friday, November 21, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) THURSDAY, November 20, 2025 from 3-7 p.m.
