JOHN C. BASILE, Age 65; loving father of Sheri Jones (Robert); dearest grandfather of Connor Schroeck; son of the late John and Lulu; brother of Adrienne and Chuck (Laura); also survived by his beloved companion Sharon Hurley and her daughter Candice Rericha (Brandon); dear uncle of Bridget Gandee and many others. Dear friend and a father figure to many. John was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 703. Services at the funeral home Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M., with a closing prayer at 7:45 p.m.
