GAVIN, age 86; beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Landino) for 63 years; loving father of John, Michael (Janet), Kathryn and Anna Marie Gehring (Scott); devoted grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of 14; son of the late John and Katherine (nee Kilbane); brother of Patricia, Kathleen and Edward; beloved uncle and dear friend of many. John was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, member of Plumbers Union Local 55 and retired from MetroHealth.  Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma, Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.  Friends received in church Friday from 9:30 – 10 a.m.
