JOHN FRANKLYN HEARN, age 87; of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Dylinski) for 67 years; loving and devoted father of Richard Hearn (Kelly Quinn Sands), Michael Hearn (Lanie), and Patrick Hearn; dearest grandfather and great-grandfather; son of the late Richard and Josephine Hearn; brother of Robert Hearn (Barbara). John was a hardworking man of faith, family and principles. His lifelong career as a welder included service as a union steward. He was past president and former member of the Holy Name Society at St. Michael Church in Cleveland. John will be remembered fondly for his kindness, humor, and love. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11 a.m. Final Resting Place, Holy Cross Cemetery.
