John M. Jaratz, Jr.

John M. Jaratz, Jr., 66, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on July 17, 2016.

John was born December 13, 1949 in Cleveland. He was married to his beloved wife Julie (nee Lasley) in 2003. John served his country honorably in the Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, rooting for the Cleveland Indians and most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his children Lea (Sean) Maxwell and Vaughn Jaratz; step-daughter Lyn (Rob) Strollo; grandchildren Stella and Jimmy Maxwell and Tiffany, Anthony and Jillian Strollo; siblings Jean (Gene) Brandt and David (Robin) Jaratz; mother Mildred Jaratz, and many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father John M. Jaratz, Sr. and brother, Bill (Donna) Jaratz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Berea Animal Rescue Fund, 390 Barrett Rd., Berea, OH 44017 .
