John Kikel

JOHN KIKEL, age 84; beloved husband of Hilda (nee Jaklitsch) and the late Anna (nee Radesinsky); loving father of Mark (Laura) and Jeff; step-father of Linda Zezulak (Carl), Joe Koenig and Lisa Hoge (Pete); dearest grandfather “Poppy” of Olivia Kikel, Ava and Jack Zezulak; son of the late Joseph and Magdalena (nee Ceben); brother of the late Anna Meditz (Seifert), Frank, Alois and Joseph (Frieda Hoge). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and his loyal dog Tucker. John was a proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a longtime member of E.O.U.V. Men’s Lodge.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072.  Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.  Arrangements by Ripepi Funeral Home.
