John F. Kochera

JOHN F. KOCHERA, age 77; loving father of the late David; dearest grandfather of Steven; great-grandfather of Landon and David, Jr.; son of the late Andrew C. and Helen (nee Palko); brother of Shirley Hagerty (James, deceased), Rita Salo (Richard), Andrew (deceased) (Anne), Peter (Sally) and Joseph (deceased) (Rita); Uncle Johnny and “Ghandi” to numerous nieces and nephews. John was proud to live life according to the natural ways of his mother, Helen.  He was a lover of nature and the simple life, with a kind heart and a wicked awesome sense of humor.  An inspiration to many who loved him, he was incredibly grateful for being loved by so many.  John was a cement mason for Local 404, a U.S. Navy Veteran and an American Merchant Marine Veteran.
