John G. Korsnak

JOHN G. KORSNAK, age 94, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020. Beloved husband of Margie (nee Theriot). They recently celebrated their 72 ^nd wedding anniversary.  Loving father of Paula Broski (John, deceased) and Larry Korsnak (Linda); dearest grandfather of Sean Korsnak (Megan), Sara Korsnak (Jason Sand) and Samantha Korsnak (Brandon Halsey); special and adored great-grandfather “PaPa GG” of Brandi, Kaydence and Avery; son of the late Helen and Peter Korsnak; step-son of the late John Vislocky; brother of Ann Sandor (John) (both deceased); uncle of Donald Sandor (Diane); great-uncle of Douglas Sandor (Jessica); Uncle Johnny and Uncle John to many nieces and nephews; Papa John to special, loving friends.  John was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corp. Veteran and retired from Ohio Bell as a project engineer after 37 years of service.  The family requests no flowers, only your thoughts and prayers.  Services at the funeral home, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Hope Memorial Gardens.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 10:00 – 11:30 A.M.  with social distancing.
