John Lahood

JOHN LAHOOD, age 68, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, August 6, 2021.  Beloved husband of Laurette for 40 years; loving father of Joyce Khodeir (Johnny), Jessica Ghorayeb (Camile) and Charbel Lahood (Carla); dearest grandfather of Joseph Khodeir, Leila Ghorayeb, Christopher Ghorayeb and Jude Khodeir; son of Simon and Genevieve Lahood (both deceased); dearest brother of Mehrez Lahood (Theresa) of Venezuela, Salwa Bakhos (Youssef) of Australia, Mason Lahood (Theresa) (both deceased), Siham Ayoub (Joseph, deceased) of Australia, Joseph Lahood (deceased) (Claire) of Australia, Saeed Lahood (Gloria) of Lebanon, Joud Lahood (deceased) (Victoria), Emile Lahood (Paulette), Nooha Khoury (Emile) and Nada Koury (Tony); beloved uncle, great-uncle and dear friend of many. John was retired from Ford Motor Company. He loved his family and friends and was a caring faithful person.  He was loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Lahood family to help the needy people in their beloved country of Lebanon.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maron Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY, AUGUST 8, 2021 from 3-7 P.M. with prayers of incense at 6 p.m.
