JOHN G. PETRAS, JR., age 97; beloved husband of the late Bernardine (nee Mihalek); devoted father of Denise Petras, Kathryn Petras, John Petras III and Laurel Martinson; loving grandfather of Jacob Price and Zachary Price; dearest brother of the late Stephen Petras, Anne Boguski and Joseph Petras; loving uncle and dear friend of many. John was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Battle of the Bulge. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, www.DAV.org . Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Heights, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. with social distancing and face mask required. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. A private family visitation will be held at The Ripepi Funeral Home.
