JOHN A. RUSSO III, age 69, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Reyne Russo; loving son of the late John A. Russo II and Joan Nancy Russo. Dearest brother of Michael (Mary Jane), Gina (deceased) and Annette Russo; loving uncle of Suzanne Greenlee (Dan) and Theresa Russo (Ryan); great-uncle of Olive May Greenlee; dear friend of many. He was a creative cook, especially when it came to his eggplant parmesan. A loyal supporter of the Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers. Johnny's enthusiasm for sports knew no bounds. He found joy in cheering on his favorite teams, always bringing an infectious energy to the game.  John's wishes were that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank www.support.greaterclevelandfoodbank.org . Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 12 noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
