John Swanson, 73, of Parma, OH, passed away December 1 ^st , 2017, surrounded by loving family after a lengthy illness. Survived by his loving wife Jean (Czaplicki) Swanson of 53 years, his four caring children Rebecca (Swanson) and husband Tony Wild of Grafton, OH, Eric and wife Kim Swanson of Parma, OH, Regina Swanson of Parma, OH and Ivan and Katie (Morris) Swanson of Parma, OH. John was known lovingly as “Papa” by his 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren whom he all enjoyed time with. Rachel (Rose) and Raymond Stafford of Sullivan, OH, and their 5 children, Ramzey, Remmi, Ramari, Reniya, and Ravyn. Ricky Rose of Cleveland, OH, Ryan Rose of Elyria, OH, Lauren (Swanson) and Jeff Bolan of Parma, OH, their son Mason. Erika (Swanson) and Ryan Reschke of Parma, OH, their son Easton and Andrea Swanson of Parma, OH. John was preceded in death by his mother and father John Oscar Swanson and Helen Harris-Reese as well as his four siblings, brothers George and Jack Roehrick and sisters Lois Pawlak and Gloria Swanson. Private services were held.
