JOHN YAMBOR, age 84, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 7th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband, proud father, and devoted Army veteran. Born on January 14, 1941. John lived a life full of love, service, and positivity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

John is survived by his loving wife, Diann (née Adamo); his daughters, Darlene Capretta (Victor), Patty Iafelice, and Joy Nageotte (John); and his cherished grandchildren: Patrick, Natalie (Keith), Rachelle, Brandon (Alexis), Dominic, Angelo, and Benito. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends.

Oldest son of John Yambor and Margaret (nee Bodnar) (both deceased). Brother to Steve Yambor (Carmeline) (both deceased), Marianne Ensminger (Jerry) (both deceased), Barbara Jean Chorba (Edward) and many nieces and nephews.

John was the devoted husband of 60 years to the love of his life, Diann. Their bond was unshakeable, and together, they shared a life rich in love and cherished memories. John and Diann raised three beautiful daughters: Darlene (Victor), Patty, and Joy (John), who were the pride and joy of his life. He was a constant source of support, encouragement, and love to his family, always putting their needs above his own.

As an Army veteran, John served his country with honor and pride. After his time in the Army, John dedicated himself to his community, becoming an active member of the Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Peace Church. His faith and commitment to his church family reflected his strong moral character and kindness in his heart. He was a successful business owner and operator of J.J. Chem Dry for 20years.

John had a deep love for the simple pleasures in life, finding joy in moments that many others might overlook. His positive outlook on life was contagious, he always saw the good in every situation and encouraged those around him to do the same. His laughter, sense of humor, and generosity brightened every room he entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Friends and family are welcome to celebrate John's life at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025 from 1:00 -4:00 p.m. with a funeral service and Military Honors at 4 p.m.

Rest in peace, John. You were truly one of a kind, and your light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who loved you.
