JOSEF HALBAUER “Little Joe”, age 73; passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Beloved son of Josef and Elisabeth (both deceased); loving brother of Heidi Zsilko (deceased) (Steve), Edie Halbauer (deceased), Angie Jackson-Duncan (Jeffrey Duncan), Rikki Mrozek (Donald) and Michael Halbauer; dearest uncle of Stevie Zsilko (Linda), Heidi Giannaras (Nick), Rosie Zsilko, Eric Jackson, Amy Jackson, Maggie Mrozek and Abby Mrozek; great-uncle and dear friend of many. Joe was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, the manager of the family-owned Matador Lounge and was active in the hospitality industry for many years. He was loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Joe at THE RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) SATURDAY, September 24, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m.
