Joseph Charles Anselmo

JOSEPH C. ANSELMO, age 90; passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Loving husband of Vincetta (nee Saporito) for 64 years; beloved father of Joseph (Alice) and Jean Ann Spitzer (Scott Dieringer); grandfather of Jamie Lynn Anselmo, Joey (Andrea) Anselmo and Clay Spitzer; great-grandfather of Layla Anselmo; son of the late Vito Charles and Jenny Anselmo; brother of Leona Cunningham (Don, deceased); loving uncle, great-uncle, step-grandfather and dear friend of many. Joe was a gentle man who was loved by many; proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran where he received two Purple Hearts. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185 ^th St., Cleveland, OH  44110. Services at the funeral home, Monday March 9, 2020 at 7 p.m. Final Resting Place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
