JOSEPH H. DACHTYL, age 75; beloved husband of Colleen (nee Takach) for 28 years; loving father of Shane Dachtyl (Laura), Angie Pope (Jason), Brandon Dachtyl (Laina), Sarah Murray and Joseph F. Dachtyl (Madison); cherished grandfather of Jason Matthew Pope, Autumn Lily Pope, Marigold Colleen Murray and Nathan Lee Dachtyl; son of the late Joe and Veronica Dachtyl; son-in-law of Lily Frances Takach; dear brother of Frank Dachtyl, Monica Antolik, Valerie Skul, Nanette Jason and David Dachtyl (Tammy); special brother-in-law of Bruce and Barb Takach; also survived by his beloved three-legged friend, Elvis Dachtyl. A celebration of Joseph’s life will take place Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 148 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.
