Joseph L. Popchak

JOSEPH L. POPCHAK, age 78; beloved husband of Nancy for 56 years; loving father of Thad Popchak (Elsa) and Jill Reddy (John); dearest grandfather of Julianne and Jenna Reddy; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Joe loved playing his drums, traveling, being outdoors, hunting, fishing and sailing.  He was always ready for a party, was perpetually positive, and loved being with his family and friends enjoying a cold beverage and a game of chance.  So let’s not mourn, raise a glass and send him up.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Service at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), TUESDAY 4-8 P.M.
