Jules Hay, Jr.

JULES HAY, JR., age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 27, 2024.  Beloved husband of Michelle; loving father of Paige Deacon (Jeffrey); proud grandfather of Zigmund James and Barrett Jules Deacon; dearest son of Jules (deceased) and Delight (Mo Gulich); dear brother of Alisa; uncle of Gregory and Courtney Bowser; great-uncle of Skyler Bowser.

Jules was passionate and authentic.  He had an undying love for live music, surfing, skating, snowboarding, hockey, the beach and his dogs. Jules shared his passions at Suitcase Willie’s Surf Shop - his first business and first love, where he met Michelle (second love).  Jules spent much of his life as a contractor and recently reignited his dream with the opening of U6 Surf Shop. Jules walked the road less traveled; preferred it that way.  It made him wise, a little mysterious, and an intriguing figure.

Jules was so proud to watch his daughter Paige become a wife to a strikingly handsome husband, a business owner, and a mother.  Jules was also so proud to be a grandfather and was teaching Ziggy how to skateboard the night before his passing.   He will be missed by all, but especially his family.
