Karen L. Boege

Karen L. Boege (nee Klaisner), age 83, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. She was the loving wife of the late James F. Boege and a devoted mother to her children, James Boege (Mayra) and Dawn Gregorek. Karen's family brought her immense joy, including her six cherished grandchildren: Brandon and Cody Matis, Brian, Kaylee, Chelsea, and Karley Boege, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ezrah and Caisyn Thomas-Boege. Karen is survived by her sister, Doris Paddock, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly.

A true animal lover, Karen had a special fondness for horses and dogs, often finding companionship and comfort in their presence. Her green thumb brought life to her home through her gardening and plants, reflecting her nurturing spirit. A passionate cook, she delighted in creating meals that brought family and friends together, celebrating life's moments with warmth and hospitality.
Karen's love for her Cleveland sports teams, especially the Browns and Indians, was infectious. Her spirited support brought joy and camaraderie to many game days spent with family.

She embraced her daughter-in-law’s family as her own, grateful for the expansive network of love that surrounded her. Her fierce independence and resilience were evident throughout her life, inspiring those who knew her to face challenges with courage and grace.
As we remember her, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved James, continuing their journey together in peace.
