KATHERINE ANN MIZIKER (nee Gallo), age 94; beloved wife of the late Joseph Miziker; loving mother of Joseph Michael Miziker, Jr. (Grace), Marlene Gonet (Carl), Diane Nicoll (Andrew) and Lori Turner (Keith); dearest grandmother of six; great-grandmother of six; daughter of the late John and Mary Gallo (nee Basile); sister of the late Frank Gallo and Rose Davis; aunt and great-aunt of many. Katherine “Kay” was a loving wife and devoted mother to her four children. She also was a “mom” to her nieces and nephews as well as neighborhood children. Kay dedicated her life to giving and caring for others. After her retirement she spent 22 years volunteering at a day care center at the local hospital. She recently retired her position as “President of Resident Council” at her assisted living facility. Kay was born into an Italian neighborhood in Cleveland. She met her husband Joe at the Aragon Ballroom. They danced together through life for 65 years. Kay was an amazing cook, letting us all know that “food is love.” Kay will be dearly missed by her family and friends. During her final days, Kay said repeatedly, through her loving smile, “My heart is filled with love”. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11 from 3-7 p.m.
