Kathleen Mary Tindira

Kathleen M. Tindira (née Unocic), 80, of Brook Park, Ohio joined her husband John in eternal rest on December 22, 2023. Kathleen passed away exactly how she lived: in her home and surrounded by her family: daughter Renee Habart, grandchildren Jessica Tindira, Carrie Burke (Jeremiah), Amanda Habart, Jonathan Habart and Alison Habart, and great-grandchildren McKenna and Mason Burke.

Kathleen’s family was her pride and joy, and she invested all her time and energy into showing it. Any time one of her kids had an event, “Nan” was there. She cheered at countless sporting events, concerts and plays in rain or shine. Every summer, she made sure that the annual trip to Conneaut Lake Park was a success. But Nan wasn’t just there for the big events. She turned every day into an adventure, whether by hiding balled-up socks and turning it into a scavenger hunt, organizing kickball games at the bus stop, or giving everyone a cardboard box to decorate and turn into a clubhouse. More recently, Nan embraced her role as great grandma. She smuggled candy to McKenna and Mason every chance she got, and she was their most loyal customer when they played restaurant. Home and family meant everything to her.

Kathleen will be fondly remembered by her sisters Carol Green and Joyce Klag and her beloved brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom Tindira (Cheri), Andrew Tindira, Raymond Tindira (Shirley), Veronica Morrow (Paul, deceased) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathleen’s memory to the Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice, 18659 Drake Rd., Strongsville, OH 44136. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish, 5620 Hauserman Rd., Parma, Thursday December 28, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends and family received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 9-10 A.M.
