Kayla Marie Sweeney

KAYLA MARIE SWEENEY, age 28; loving daughter of Michael and Denise (nee Kosty); dearest sister of Kimberly; dear granddaughter of John and Judith Kosty and the late James and Genevieve Sweeney; dear niece of Michelle and Jeff Hirsch, James and Mary Jo Sweeney, Maureen and Thomas Krupka, Joseph and Rose Sweeney; beloved cousin and dear friend of many.  Kayla was a passionate advocate for children with special needs.  She was a teacher for Shaker Heights School District and a member of the Autism Speaks organization.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to One Love Foundation www.joinonelove.org or Autism Speaks www.autismspeaks.org . Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. Please meet at church.  Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery.  Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
