Kenneth James Drdek

KENNETH JAMES DRDEK, age 67; loving husband of Catherine “Katie” (nee Maloney), of Brooklyn, OH, passed away at home on October 22, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born in Brooklyn, OH on November 21, 1955 to Charles and Mary Lou (nee Ferguson) Drdek (both deceased); father of Liz Supeck (Mike), Bridgette Coljohn (Chris), Nick Mintz (Pam), Tim Drdek and Dan Drdek (Autumn); grandfather of Sierra (Gabe), Nick, Taylor, Mike, Kaletta, Molly, Lizzy, Rocco, Austin, Arielle, Carmody, Hunter, Emma, Cecilia and Nora; great-grandfather of Charlotte; brother of Gary (Janet, deceased), Rick (Dian), Kathy Busch (Mark) and Sherri Conroy (Joe); brother-in-law of Dann Maloney (deceased) (Eileen), Jim Maloney (Sandy), Willy Maloney (deceased), Pat Edwards, Mike Maloney (Lynda), Gert Francis (Bull), Fran Lance (Neil, deceased) and Joe Maloney (deceased); loving uncle and friend of many.  Ken was an employee of American Greetings for 36 years. The family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve www.hospicewr.org.   Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11 a.m. Friends received in church Thursday 10 – 11 a.m.

A Celebration of Life will also be held Thursday evening, from 3-7 p.m., at Overlook Venue, 5313 Hauserman Rd. (shared driveway with Parma Armory).
