KONSTANTINOS GEORGIOS KATSIKAS, age 90; passed away peacefully on Saturday April 13, 2024, surrounded by family. Loving father of George Katsikas (Scott) and Mary Ellen Katsikas (Daren Poppen); beloved grandfather of Gianna Poppen; life partner of Louise Frietchen and extended family: Holly Frietchen and children Konstantinos and Joshua, Andrew Frietchen (Patti) and children Sara, Amanda, Jacob and Jordan, Michael Frietchen and children Rebecca, Brandy and Carrie Ann, Heidi Frietchen (deceased) and children Rebecca, Andrew and Reno; 13 great- grandchildren; son of the late Georgios and Helen Katsikas; brother of John Katsikas and the late Angela Haritatos and Evmorfia Katsikas; former husband of Irene Katsikas; uncle, cousin and dear friend of many. Gus served two years in the Greek Armed Forces before moving to the United States in 1969. He was proud of his Greek heritage, a long-standing member of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) and Sterea Hellas Foundation of Cleveland. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 W. 14th St., Cleveland, OH 44113. Funeral Service at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 W.14th St., Cleveland, Wednesday April 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Dean Dimon, officiating. Family and friends received in church from 10 – 11 a.m. Private interment to take place in Nafpaktos, Greece.
