Larry Ramon Jones

LARRY RAMON JONES, age 84, of Seven Hills, Ohio passed away on June 11, 2024. Larry was born on December 16, 1939 to Madeline and James Jones in Akron, Ohio. After graduating from Akron Garfield High School in 1958, he joined the United States Navy. Larry worked at Avery Dennison for over 25 years, and then retired to The Villages, Florida, where he greatly enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family before moving back to Seven Hills, Ohio in 2023. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joyce, his sister Elaine Bindel, his daughter Kimberly, and six grandchildren. His son, Larry Jr., pre-deceases him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Larry’s name to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank www.GreaterClevelandFoodBank.org. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, Ohio on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
