Larry Molls

LARRY MOLLS, Age 69 of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 2, 2024; loving husband and best friend of Sandy (nee Baranich) for 36 wonderful years; loving father of Ben Molls (Justin Hamman) and Kevin Molls; son of the late Frank and Eileen (nee Zeitz); dearest brother of Doug (deceased), Dean (deceased), Michelle Simon (Dave) and Andy (Linda); beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Larry was a proud graduate of Valley Forge High School (1973) and The Ohio State University (1977). He was an excellent running back. He played under Woody Hayes, played with Archie Griffin and beat Michigan in 1973. Larry was a Fairview Park Firefighter and Paramedic, retiring in 2016 after 32 years of service. He bowled a 300 game, had a hole-in-one and was inducted to the Valley Forge Athletic Hall of Fame. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. “The only fire I couldn’t put out was the one that’s right here (in my heart).” Speaking to Sandy.  A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at The German Central, 7863 York Rd., Parma, Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 1-5 p.m.
