Laura E. Difilippo

LAURA E. DiFILIPPO, passed away peacefully at the age of 45 yrs. on Holy Saturday, April 19, 2025. Loving mother of Adrian and Alisabeth; beloved daughter of Rose Dietz (DiFilippo) (Charles) and Nicola DiFilippo; dear sister of Nick DiFilippo (Bridget); aunt of Dominic and Leonardo; granddaughter of Lidia and the late Luigi Salvatore, Anna and the late Antonio DiFilippo; she also leaves behind the father of her children, Adrian Gutierrez, Sr.; niece, cousin, dear friend and shipmate to many.

A proud retired United States Navy veteran, Laura served her country with honor. Her love for culinary arts took her to the revered kitchens of the White House and was deployed upon the USS Carl Vinson.

Laura had a heart of gold and would help all people she encountered. Laura had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs.

Laura’s strength, faith, and boundless love for her family and animals will forever be remembered. Her light continues to shine through the lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to honor Laura’s life at a funeral service on Monday, April 28th, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Heartland Community Church, 3400 Weymouth Rd, Medina. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross mausoleum. Viewing hours will be held at Ripepi Funeral Home, 5762 Pearl Rd. (at Snow Rd.), on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
