Lillian M. Tuma

LILLIAN M. TUMA (nee Sarkes), age 97; passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late George; loving and devoted mother of Linda Tuma (James Henderson), George Tuma (Sandra) and Ronald Tuma (Anne); dearest grandmother of Sean (deceased), Annette, George, Ronnie (Rosie) and Johanna; great-grandmother of many; daughter of the late Michael and Selma (nee Sawaya) Sarkes; sister of the late George, Victoria, Walter and Helen Sarkes; beloved aunt, great-aunt and dear friend of many. Lillian worked until age 91 at Swagelok, enjoyed spending time with her family along with cooking and baking for many. She was an avid reader and spent many years ballroom dancing and going to casinos. Lillian and her husband George were very active at St. Elias Church. Lillian was loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Elias Church, 8023 Memphis Ave., Brooklyn, OH  44144. Services at St. Elias Church, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. Please meet at church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) WEDNESDAY from 4-7 p.m. Trisagion at 7 p.m.
