Louis Charles Catania

LOUIS C. CATANIA, age 74, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.  Beloved husband of Billie Jo (nee Frederick); loving father of Michael, Michelle and Renee; step-father of Michael Green (Monica); dearest grandfather of Kaitlyn, Anthony, Karli, Briana and Taylor; step-grandfather of Karli; great-grandfather of Gino, Ariana, Karter, Anthony, Angelo, Jayden and Jaxson; brother of Carol McCafferty (Joe, deceased) and Salvatore (Debbie); former husband and friend of Marlene Hollenbeck.  Louie was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a retired Cleveland Police Officer and a retired bondsman.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org . The family will receive friends at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. with Military Honors and the Cleveland Police Department Final Salute at 5 p.m.
