LUCIANO "GINO" BONVISSUTO, age 92, born in Licata, Sicily, passed away on January 18, 2015. Beloved and cherished husband of Antoinette (nee Arcoria) for 57 years; devoted and loving father, and best friend, of James "Jim"; son of the late Girolamo "Jim" and Maria (nee Urso); dear brother of the late Vincenza Marotta (Salvatore), Thomas (Eleanore) and Carmela Marconi (Carmen); brother-in-law of Charles Arcoria (Gina) and the late Angie Eppolito (Joe) and Rose Romano (Frank); uncle of many nieces and nephews; WWII Veteran, Italian Army, where he attended military school and held the rank of Master Sergeant; member of the Italian Army for 11 years. He immigrated to the United States to join his mother, father, brother and sisters and became a brewery worker at POC, Carlings and Schmidts Breweries. Avid gardener who could grow anything, graft any tree and loved his fig tree. His feistiness, independence, unique sense of humor and laughter will be greatly missed.
