MARIA CHAANINE, Age 39; beloved wife of Ashby Scott; loving daughter of Antoine and Najat (nee Naoum) Chaanine of Lebanon; dearest sister of George Chaanine and Chimene Chaanine (Chad Abou-Rjeily) of Lebanon; dear aunt of Charbel, Charelle and Cherlie of Lebanon; niece, cousin and friend of many in the United States, Canada and Lebanon. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maron Chapel, 7800 Brookside Rd., Independence, Friday March 17, 2023 at 12 noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received in the chapel, Friday 10 a.m.- 12 noon. Arrangements by Ripepi Funeral Home 440-888-0800.
