Marica Boskocevic, (nee Dejanovic); passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2026.

Marica was the loving daughter of the late Ljubica and Staja, born on August 19th, 1933. Sister of the late Dusko and Bora. She was happily married to the late Jovan Boskocevic and shared a legacy of unconditional love to their children. Survived by daughters, Perka Krkljus (Radoslav), Stana Marko and Suzy Djilas (Milovan), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Affectionately known as “Baka” by her grandchildren, Marica left an indelible mark on each of their lives. Her heart was a garden of love, and each grandchild was a recipient of her comfort, nurturing spirit, and wisdom. Her greatest joy in life was found in her family by caring for them and spending time with them. She lovingly nicknamed each family member in her own special way. As soon as Baka saw you, a smile would spread across her face and her sweet voice would call out your special name- a memory we will treasure in our hearts forever. Her hands were always busy making delicious food, or simply just holding yours. Although the physical touch of her hand will no longer be ours, our hearts will forever know the comfort of her love.

Marica’s memory lives on through the generations she leaves behind- in her generosity, her kindness, and in the beloved phrases affectionately known within the family as “Baka-isms”. Her legacy of love will be cherished and passed on always.

Services at the funeral home, Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12 noon. Entombment Brooklyn Heights Mausoleum. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), FRIDAY from 11 a.m.- 12 noon.
