Marie Decapite

MARIE DeCAPITE, age 97; loving daughter of the late Dominic and Carrie (nee Lagratta); devoted sister of Michael DeCapite (Natalie) (both deceased) and Raymond DeCapite (deceased) (Sally); beloved aunt of Philip DeCapite (deceased), Suzie Joyce (Pat) (both deceased) and Michael DeCapite (June Hony). Marie enjoyed a long career as an educator in the Cleveland Public School District, first as a teacher and then as a principal.  According to her nephew Mike, “she saw and brought out the best in everyone around her. Without saying anything, she reminded you about your best self.” In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Augustine Church Hunger Center, 2486 West 14 ^th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 12 noon.  Interment Calvary Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 9:30 – 11 A.M.
