Mario Costanzo

MARIO COSTANZO, age 83; beloved father of Michelle Costanzo Riley, Marisa Abraham (Steve), Mario Costanzo (Kris), and Michael Costanzo (Diane); loving nonno to Gabrielle Scorzino (Nick), Emily Abraham (Zac), Isabella Elefritz (Ryan), Nick Abraham, Jacob Riley (Michelle), Julia Riley, Michael Costanzo Jr., Megan Costanzo, Quinn Costanzo, and Colin Costanzo; proud great-nonno to Nicholas Scorzino Jr.

Born in Coreno Ausonio, Province of Frosinone, Italy. Son of the late Vincenzo and Antonia Costanzo; brother to Tony Costanzo (Pasqualina), Elga Iannaggi (Biagio, deceased), Archie Costanzo (Sherri Litwin), and Paul Costanzo (Terri); uncle and friend of many.

Mario was a lifelong member of The Home Italian Club and the Circolo Italo Americano Corenese Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time with nature and hunting. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, hosting many summer picnics filled with food, music, bocce ball tournaments and lasting memories. He will be dearly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests contributions be made to the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., Thursday October 1, 2026 at 1 p.m. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 10 a.m. – 12 Noon with a CIAC prayer service at 11:45 a.m.
