MARK L. MACKERT, age 88; passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Chambers) for 65 years; best father of Michelle Mikovsky (Richard), Deborah Tisdel (Dr. Christopher), Denise Meeks (Thomas), Diane Goebel (deceased) (Christopher), Mark (Erin) and Michael; loving grandfather of 24; great-grandfather of 15; son of Albert and Pearl (both deceased); brother of Virginia Geiger (Al) (both deceased), Lawrence (deceased), Fr. Albert (deceased), Pearl Olearcik (James) (both deceased), Earl (Carol) (both deceased), Paul (Jacqueline), Sr. Rita, James (Lois) and Janet Ravotti (John); uncle and friend of many. Mark was a proud St. Ignatius Alumni, U.S. Army Veteran, volunteered for numerous organizations and was a well-known and successful State Farm Insurance agent for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to the St. Ignatius Scholarship Fund, 1911 W. 30 ^th St., Cleveland, OH  44113. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6750 State Rd., Parma, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
