Maryann Bartchak

MARYANN BARTCHAK (nee Smajdek), age 87; beloved wife of the late Donald “Big Don” for 65 years; loving mother of Deborah Von Alt (deceased) (Joe), Jeannie Verzi (John), Bob Bartchak (Terri) and Rick Bartchak; dearest grandmother of Sarah Reynolds (Travis), Brent Bartchak, Blake Bartchak (deceased), Brittany Bartchak and Dominic Verzi; step-grandmother of Jeanette Bratcher (Justin), Johnny Verzi and Joshua Verzi (Val); great-grandmother of Maddox, Greyson, Gabby, Gena, Maddie, Mackenzie, Ava, Emma and Joshua; sister of the late Therese Stehura, Joseph, Josephine, Julia, Anthony and Elenore Smajdek; aunt and friend of many. Maryann enjoyed baking, especially Christmas cookies, french toast and cheesecake. She was loved and will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends received in church, Thursday from 10-10:30 a.m.
